November Seasons of Success Oil – Compassion

Hello everyone! Ready to dive into this months Seasons of Success Oil? Each month, I showcase a different oil that can help improve your mental and emotional state. This month, it’s all about Compassion. 

Compassion is an incredible emotion that can make a huge difference in our relationships and overall sense of being. You know how sometimes we all feel a little lost or maybe like we’re not measuring up? That’s where compassion comes in – it’s like a refreshing breeze that lifts our spirits and motivates us to keep going.

But what’s fascinating is that compassion isn’t just good for uplifting our moods; it’s also a powerful tool for fostering meaningful connections and nurturing our relationships. When we show compassion to others, we’re not only helping them feel valued and understood, but we’re also strengthening the bond between us. It’s a magical ingredient that can spice up our interactions and bring out the best in our friends, family, and loved ones.

And here’s another interesting twist: compassion isn’t just for others; it’s also crucial that we show it to ourselves! Have you ever felt angry or disappointed in yourself for not living up to your own standards? I think we all have those moments. That’s when we need to pause and offer ourselves some compassion. It’s a powerful way to forgive our mistakes and start afresh with a renewed sense of hope. Recognizing that we all make mistakes and that it’s okay to be kind to ourselves can help us break free from the negativity that can destroy our relationships.

So, let’s all take a moment and embrace the power of compassion. It’s a wonderful emotion that can help us uplift others while also boosting our own spirits. Remember, when we compassionately support others, we’re indirectly helping ourselves and setting a beautiful example of empathy and understanding. 

How to Use Compassion Oil

Here’s a Compassion Intention, repeat this intention every day for the month of November as you use the oil and see what magic it can help you create in your life.

I forgive myself for the times I may have been unkind in action or spoke unkindly without compassion to myself or others. I understand that unkindness destroys relationships, and encouraging words of kindness build long-lasting relationships. As I compassionately lift up others, I raise myself up, and we all succeed.

Topical Use

Wrists: Apply 2 to 4 drops to wrists and inhale as you repeat the comapssion intention each day for 28 days:*

Feet: Apply 2 to 4 drops on bottoms of big toes on each foot. Because the soles of the feet are commonly less sensitive than other areas of the body due to their thicker skin, essential oils can generally be applied to the feet without irritation, and are quickly absorbed into the body.*

Perfume/Cologne: For a safe, healthier alternative to synthetic fragrances, apply 2 to 4 drops on pulse points behind the ears, at the base of the throat, on the wrists, inside the elbows, and behind the knees.*

Massage/Lotion: Add a few drops to unscented/perfume-free lotions, creams, and massage oils. Patch-test before applying to large areas.*

Aromatic

Diffuser: Diffuse 10 to 15 drops in a cool mist essential oil diffuser for 5 to 8 minutes per hour as desired, throughout the day.*

Body Spray: Mix 15 to 20 drops into 4 ounces of distilled water in a cobalt blue glass or PET plastic spray bottle. Shake vigorously and mist around yourself to release resistance to expanding the aspect of yourself that wants to open more fully to giving and receiving love.*

Room Spray: Mix 15 to 20 drops into 4 ounces of distilled water in a cobalt blue glass or PET plastic spray bottle. Shake vigorously and spray into the environment as desired.*

Bath

Bath: Add 5 to 10 drops to ½ to 1 cup of Pink Himalayan or Dead Sea bath salts, and add to warm bath water. Soak 10 to 20 minutes to enhance emotional balance and support loving compassion for yourself and others.*

There are so many ways to use this oil and bring some compassion into your life. Here are a few of my favorites to try by using topically or diffusing in your home or office: 

Motivate Others: A few kind words can go a long way! Encourage your loved ones and lift them up with this oil. Tell them what they’re doing right, and watch their spirits soar!

Say Encouraging Words: The world can be a tough place, and it’s easy to get wrapped up in negativity. Use your compassion oil to shift the energy and encourage others to keep pushing forward.

Nurture Relationships: Take a moment to listen – really listen – to your friends and family. Put down your phone, make eye contact, and show them that you care. Bonus points if you use your compassion oil to enhance the moment!

Self-Compassion: We often forget the most important person in our lives: ourselves! Forgive yourself for any past unkindness, and remind yourself of the power of compassion with this oil. Apply a few drops to your wrists or feet, or create a compassion intention that works for you.
